Since taking off in 2011, CinemaCon has been one of the biggest conventions (if you will) for movies throughout the world.
CinemaCon is essentially a giant event (and company) that showcases and highlights the motion picture theater industry (aka movies). It’s an amazing networking, premier and internationally respected and loved event that welcomes some of the world’s best actors, directors, producers and so much more.
Every year the convention gets more exciting with speakers, premiers panels and more. But the events within CinemaCon are equally if not more exciting and interesting than the convention itself! Since CinemaCon is such a worldwide drawn-in event, it’s expect that some of the biggest stars would be making an appearance.
This year, we were not only ecstatic to see some of our favorites, like Mila Kunis, Anna Kendrick, and the entire female cast of Ocean’s 8 – but naturally, these ladies lit up CinemaCon in s-t-y-l-e.
As we mentioned, the beautiful, talented and powerful women that make up the cast of the new and thrilling Ocean’s 8 movie showed up as fierce as ever. Cate Blanchett stood out from the group in her stunning gold women’s tux with black lapels that was simply stunning. Jane Fonda looked like classic Jane Fonda in her diamond white women’s suit and the hysterical Kate McKinnon remained effortlessly classic in her women’s black ensemble.
The gorgeous Gabriel Union switched things up with her pink silk tuxedo, while everyone’s favorite Blake Lively slayed in a teal tuxedo dress with a bow tie.
Women with as much influence as these empower all of us to not only take fashion risks, but to be proud of who we are, what we love and what we do. And that in itself is a beautiful thing.
